Are you planning to visit Radisson Hotel in Sklarszka Poręba? Do you want to know how it looks like there? Take inspiration from my visit!

Radisson Hotel in Szklarska Poręba is located near the Polish border with the Czech Republic. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation, a pleasant spa and excellent food.

Accommodation

I personally stayed in a superior room. The mattresses on the bed were comfortable, there was a television and a balcony with a seating area. If you like a nice view from the balcony, I would recommend paying extra for a room with a view of the countryside (on the other side of the driveway). Aside from the amenities, I especially appreciated the omnipresent silence. No noise from the street or hallway can be heard through the doors, walls and windows. As for the bathroom, it was quite spacious and clean but there were not enough places to hang wet towels.

Wellness

The hotel’s spa is located on the lower floor. It can be reached by elevator or stairs. The walk to it from the room is not long. The elevator is well placed, so it is usually a few steps from any room and you go down almost to the entrance of the spa.

If you pay for a massage, the massage parlors are located right at the entrance to the spa.

There is an outdoor hot tub, which is located on the terrace. The hot tub can be accessed through a door from the pool area. The jacuzzi is smaller but has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

Sun loungers and chairs are also available on the terrace.

Inside the wellness centre there are two swimming pools. One has lanes and is primarily for swimming.

The other pool is next door, is designed for relaxation, the water is warmer and there are two massage loungers inside.

The sauna is located in one complex next to the pool, so you don’t have to go anywhere. There are lockers and a changing area in front of the sauna, so you can change in the spa area and keep your stuff right there.

There are 3 types of saunas. Swedish sauna, steam sauna and infrared sauna.

The relaxation area is located next to the saunas above the swimming pool, offers a nice view and has several heated stone loungers.

Restaurant and Food

The restaurant is located on the ground floor, near the lobby and bar. The restaurant is quite large. If you arrive among the first guests, you might even get a table by the window, where you can get a beautiful view of the countryside. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style. There are 2 long counters. On one you will find sweet and savoury dishes, salads and various side dishes. On the other desserts, coffee, tea or juices. The selection of dishes and desserts changes every day.

Evening seating, Bar and Drinks

If you want to enjoy the evening without going far, there’s a bar on the ground floor with seating and an extensive food and drink menu.

They have a myriad of drinks on offer at a pretty good price and I recommend trying them all 😅 as they really put a lot of thought into them. Alcohol free drinks are also available.
