Shrunken monuments from Italy and Europe
Italy in Miniature is a theme park featuring miniature monuments from all over Italy. It is also possible to find monuments and sites from other European countries.
The area has a separate car park which has plenty of spaces. The car park is outdoors.
The whole park is connected by alleys, on the sides of which there are miniature versions of various monuments. Some of the monuments are alive and there is, for example, an imitation of waterfalls, floating boats, moving figures, etc. Each monument has a label with a description of what it is and where it can be found.
Inside the park there are refreshments, a gift shop and fun attractions for children. The most popular of these is the imitation town and the figure at the back of the park that, when you press a button, pours water out of the window, forcing children to jump out of the way to avoid being drenched.
It’s also possible to pay to ride the park’s Gondola in a scaled-down Venice.
If you plan to visit the site, expect it to take 1 hour if you are really in a hurry. If you are travelling with children, you can spend up to 4 hours.
